Students, Faculty and Staff with a Positive Test Result
Students who test off campus or with a home-test and receive a positive result should immediately report those results to Health Services. Employees who receive a positive test should contact their supervisor to make appropriate arrangements to be away from campus. Employees who test positive for COVID-19 will follow the sick leave policies outlined on the Human Resources website.
It’s essential you let Health Services know if you test positive for COVID-19 through a home test
Instructors will be notified of those who won't be able to attend class. Students should also let their instructors know and follow-up on course material missed. Faculty must keep students' COVID-19 status confidential.
Students who test positive for COVID-19 are allowed to return to their permanent residence for isolation.
If employees test positive they should report their positive status to their supervisor to make appropriate arrangements to be away from campus.
Employees should not return to on-campus work or visit campus until the isolation period has cleared and you are symptom free for 24 hours. Stay home to self-isolate and follow the CDC-recommended steps for care.
If you’re employed by or volunteer at an outside company or organization, or if you’re enrolled in a clinical, internship or other experiential learning opportunity with an outside company or organization, you’re responsible for contacting them regarding a positive test.
