Mental health includes emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, especially during a pandemic.

Everyone's approach to positive mental health varies.Below are several ideas of what you could do to enhance your positive mental health.

An online, interactive, anonymous resource called SilverCloud is available through OSF HealthCare. Use this free app to manage the feelings and causes of depression, anxiety or stress. You’ll work through a series of interactive modules that include mindfulness exercises, interactive journaling, and mood or lifestyle charting.

Here are some additional support services to consider:

  • Student Support Services – This office provides personal attention and resources to students as they work to achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Academic Success Center – This office brings together students, faculty and staff to develop initiatives aimed at maximizing student potential.
  • Bradley Health Center – provides primary health care for Bradley students.


Bradley provides resources to help full-time employees and eligible dependents cope with life events through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

The EAP provides confidential, short-term counseling at no cost. Additionally, if you’re enrolled in a Bradley-sponsored health plan, you can schedule a time to speak with a counselor in the privacy of your home through the Virtual Visit option.
