During the first week of school each year, the LJB Center hosts a Volunteer Fair, in conjunction with the Activities Fair. On average, 35 agencies come to campus to recruit Bradley student volunteers.
Welcome Week Service Project
Volunteer with your fellow Bradley students on Monday, August 26, 2019 in the community from 8:30am – 12:30pm. This is a great way to get involved and learn about the numerous community organizations in the area. The first ever Welcome Week Service Project was held in August 2012. Since then over 2,000 students have volunteered, providing more than 6,000 hours of community service to the Peoria area. This program is made possible by the Bradley University Parents Association and CEFCU.
The Lewis J. Burger Center for Leadership and Service (LJB Center) is charged to oversee the recording of community service hours. In order to ensure that students are completing intentional community service hours, we have created the following guidelines.
