Bradley’s pre-med program prepares you for medical school by giving you a strong understanding of science, the human body and its vital processes.
Bradley’s pre-med program, with guidance from the Health Professions Advising Center, helps you choose your path to medical school. Because medical schools don't require a particular academic path, you can choose your studies from biology, biomedical science, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, chemistry, health science or psychology. It equips you to explore career options through research and volunteer opportunities in Peoria hospitals, the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and student organizations. The program allows you to focus on one area of interest or take a broad approach to your academic training.
Bradley’s pre-med track successfully prepares you for graduate school. In recent years, most students continued their education within six months of graduation. They’re receiving medical training at institutions such as the University of Chicago, University of Iowa, Southern Illinois University and George Washington University.
Bradley and Peoria share much in common — a diverse population, world-class research facilities, outstanding fine arts and entertainment, and a great sense of community. This bond provides our students with unique opportunities for internships, class projects and research.Explore Peoria
